Krewe of the Oaks Mardi Gras parade and street dance has become an annual
event offering cheerful and spirited hospitality. It's held on the Sunday
preceding Mardi Gras Day. |

annual Christmas Bonfest, featuring extraordinary
bonfires on the levee has become an event that draws thousands from around
the region to listen and dance to nationally-known musicians from a spectrum
of different genres.
This
event is held annually on December 23rd. The City of Port Allen encourages all visitors to enjoy the attractions found along the Mississippi River, including commerce and traffic, seasonal fireworks displays from barges, and spectacular views of the beautiful Baton Rouge skyline. |
